Day 1

2:15 am came very early Monday morning. The flights went well and in no time we were in Greensoro, NC. Dennis Huth of ASA met us at the baggage pick up and has been with us every step of the way.

First thing we did was head to Joe Gibbs Nationwide shop for seat fitting. Everyone was great. From the measurements Cary gave over the phone before we left, they were able to fit the seat to fit him perfectly. For the next few hours we took a tour of the Nationwide shop and met some very cool people.

We headed over to the Joe Gibbs Sprint Cup shop. One word....AWESOME. The first person Cary met when he walked in was Joey Logano. He happened to be at the shop picking up some shoes and was on his way out. Cary, Dennis Huth and Joey Logano stood and talked for quite awhile. Joey said that one of the cars Cary will be driving was one that Joey had driven several times before and had never finished less than 2nd in it.... No pressure.

Our tour of the shop was awesome. The craftsmanship and the man power going into building these cars is amazing. Once our tour was over we sat down with JD Gibbs and were soon joined by Joe Gibbs. JD sat with us for about 30-45 minutes talking and asking questions. He is a very down to earth guy. He took us on a behind the scenes tour of pretty much the whole place. Very cool. It is truly amazing everything they have in one building.

Honestly, I cannot put into words or describe accurately everything we saw in one day.
