Day 3

Holy cow it is cold here!!! Cary did great. A few laps around the track and he found its' groove. We were told that Marc Davis ran 16.20's-16.40's yesterday in an 8 lap run. Cary ran 16.00's-16.20's early on and when the tires started falling off late in the run he ran up to 16.50. That was in 20 lap intervals on the same tires. Pretty good. There were two cars, that was the first one. The second car felt better but was slower. Either way, he had a blast and it made standing in the wind and the cold well worth it. Cary says driving the bigger, heavier cars on a track he had never seen was an experience in its self.

We can not thank Dennis Huth from ASA Racing and the guys from Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Joe Gibbs Camping World Series crew, Circle Track magazine and 3 Wide Life TV enough. Everything is well appreciated and y'all have provided for us an experience we will never forget. Once I get everyone's names where they belongg, I want to thank each one personally and let me tell you there were A LOT of people involved.

Last but not least, THANK YOU, Maryann and HE Naumann for giving the short track racers a great track to race at and to call home. As for Debbi Williams, you are without a doubt the best PR lady out there! She had just as much dedication to this championship as anyone.

I have to get started downloading pictures after we go eat so check back later!
Oh, and Larry McReynolds showed up.
